Água de Alto Beach is located in Água de Alto parish, Vila Franca do Campo. This beach on the south coast of the island, as well as the nearby Trinta Reis Beach, is nestled by a very curious landscape, dividing itself between the mountain and the sea. This 560 meter long beach forms a wide bay with an equally wide beach where the seawater is clear and pure. This beach is guarded and has a good access path with its own parking, bar, toilets with showers and disabled access. At one end a hotel was built, the Bahía Palace Hotel & Resort.
