The Baixa da Areia Beach is located in the parish of Água de Pau, near the area of Caloura, municipality of Lagoa. This beach is presented with very fine sand and about 100 meters long. In its vicinity, there are several other beaches of various sizes separated by small promontories and other recesses of the coast. It is situated in the center of a set of access roads to farmland.
