Vigia das Baleias Viewpoint is located in Capelas parish, Ponta Delgada municipality. This viewpoint is used by private companies to observe and locate cetaceans for whale watching purposes. This viewpoint offers a view that extends along the north coast of the island allowing to see a landscape of great amplitude always having the sea in the background.
