Ponta do Sossego Viewpoint is located in the Nordeste. This viewpoint offers a wide view of the north coast of the island as well as part of the Nordeste mountains. From there you can see Fajã do Araújo, Ponta da Madrugada and Ponta da Marquesa. This viewpoint is partly landscaped not only with flowering plants but also with typical Macaronesian endemic flora.
