Fogo beach is a beach area in the parish of Ribeira Quente, in the municipality of Povoação. This beach, located in Fogo, on the south coast, is formed by a sandy beach next to a bay where there are several underwater hydrothermal springs. This makes the warm seawater an unusual event that makes this beach very popular. Around it forms a landscape considered idyllic.
The beach is housed between the mountain and the sea forming a nook where the contrast between the navy blue and the sky and the evergreen of the cliffs that surround the sand. Next to this beach is a car park, and has toilet facilities, showers and disabled access.
