The Pico do Ferro Viewpoint is located in the parish of Furnas, municipality of Povoação. This viewpoint is at an altitude of around 570 meters, at the height of the Ferro peak.
Offering immense views of the vast volcanic crater of Furnas Valley, Furnas lagoon stands out to the right of the viewpoint and the valley opens to the left. It is also possible to observe the whole surrounding mountainous area. The passage through this viewpoint is part of the list of walking tours of the municipality of Povoação.
