The Pico das Cruzinhas Viewpoint is located in the parish of Sé, in the historical center of the city and municipality of Angra do Heroísmo, on Terceira Island, in the Azores. It is located on the top of Cruzinhas peak, one of the three peaks of Monte Brasil, in an area of great landscape and historical importance for Terceira. It is part of the Monte Brasil Recreational Forest Reserve. This viewpoint enjoys a panoramic view over the entire south coast of the island, including the islets of Cabras, the parish of Porto Judeu, the Ribeirinha, the Serra da Ribeirinha, the historic center of Angra do Heroismo, the Serra do Morião, the parish of São Mateus da Calheta and the Serra Santa Bárbara.

Among the bays is the bay of Angra do Heroísmo, the bay of Fanal and the bay of Villa Maria. The privileged view also includes Pipas Port, Angra do Heroísmo Marina and São Mateus da Calheta Port. On clear days, you can still see on the horizon, São Jorge Island and Pico Island. Local attractions include ancient World War II anti-aircraft artillery pieces, the monument to the 5th Centenary of the Azores Discovery (1432-1932), a pattern of reinforced concrete topped by the Cross of Christ, nurseries of birds and animals, picnic area with outdoor grills, amphitheatre, and an old 17th-century barn and guardhouse.

Pico das Cruzinhas, as it is known today, was also called Pico das Cruzes. In 1642, there were three crosses planted on separate bases at this peak, so the name of what he acquired. In place of the crosses, and exactly where the Commemorative Pattern of the 5th Centenary of the Discovery of the Azores was raised in 1932, there was a stone base with some steps of the castle's ancient gallows. Where the Spanish authorities and the arbitrary court illegally created and presided over by João d'Orbina, governor-general of the Azores, shortly after the conquest of the island in 1583, drowned out the desires of the people of Terceira island for national independence, hanging them with the face facing the same island.
