Monte Carneiro Viewpoint

Monte Carneiro Viewpoint is a Portuguese viewpoint located on the top of Monte Carneiro, in the parish of Flamengos, Horta municipality, Faial Island, Azores Archipelago. This viewpoint offers a magnificent view over an important part of the interior of the island of Faial and is located at 287 meters above sea level. From here, and in a 360º angle around the hill, you can see a myriad of small villages that get lost among the green of the landscape and where stand out Santo Amaro, Calço das Figueiras, Courelas, Santa Barbara, Dutras and Farrobo.
