The Terra Alta Viewpoint is located in the place of Ladeira da Terra Alta, in the parish of Ribeirinha, municipality of Lajes do Pico.
This viewpoint is located at the top of an escarpment at 415 meters altitude, joins the road that surrounds the island of Pico on the north side and given the privileged situation in which it is located, between the parish of Santo Amaro and The parish of Ribeirinha, allows the viewer a view of the Island of St. George, as well as a great landscape where they exhibit some of the forest riches of Pico, typical of the forests of Laurissilva characteristic of Macaronesia.
