ANC Azores Rent a Car provides car hire on São Miguel. In Ponta Delgada, the company lists a kiosk on Avenida João Bosco Mota Amaral opposite Hotel Marina Atlântico, together with a main station on regional road ER 4-1A at Serra Gorda. Reservations can be made online, by telephone or by email.
The fleet is organised by vehicle category, so a booking confirms a group rather than a specific make or model. The company states that mileage is unlimited and requires personal identification and a driving licence at collection. Customer service is open every day from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Conditions covering driver age, deposit, fuel, cleaning, insurance, extensions and returns should be read carefully before completing a reservation.
