TOC TOC will be staged at Coliseu Micaelense in Ponta Delgada on 5 October 2026. The play was written by French playwright Laurent Baffie and comes to Portugal in an adaptation directed by Alexandre Reinecke.
The story brings together characters living with obsessive-compulsive disorders, using humour to explore everyday situations and encounters between people with very different experiences. Its comic approach is paired with an attentive look at human relationships and the mental-health subject at the heart of the narrative.
According to the Coliseu programme, the production has already been seen by more than one million spectators in Brazil. Its Ponta Delgada date is part of the venue's October cultural calendar, alongside theatre, music, cinema and other artistic events in São Miguel.
For residents and visitors, the performance offers the chance to see an internationally touring theatre production at one of the Azores' principal indoor venues. Coliseu Micaelense is located in Ponta Delgada, on São Miguel island.
